Who can apply?
Eligible residential electricity consumers installing a grid-connected rooftop solar system through the PM Surya Ghar National Portal and a registered vendor.
How the process works
- Apply on the National Portal
- Receive required approval / feasibility
- Install the approved rooftop solar system
- MSEDCL inspection and net-metering
- Subsidy credited after approval
Subsidy is ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the next 1 kW; no additional subsidy beyond 3 kW. Eligibility, rates and disbursement are subject to current MNRE, National Portal and DISCOM rules.
